This is so much fun! I am not as suspicious of Charles regarding Molly’s disappearance. Maybe he still has feelings for her, too soon to tell. I like that Allison is a pilot, it really gives confidence and she has the ability to leave if she wanted to. It kind of pushes back on Lindsey’s judgment of the lifestyle. Danger is around the corner and they are headed right for it to follow Molly’s last know whereabouts. I love it!!! A lot could happen chasing after Molly!

Thank you. I have no idea what to do with the book as a whole. It didn’t sell to major publishers. Some of the pass notes were mind numbingly stupid. Right now I am Pursuing this on the film and TV side and will come back to publishing I guess. I don’t think I should serialize the whole thing here. Maybe if my substack was huge and paid? But I don’t want to charge people on here for stuff like that. So we will see! All up in the air.but there are a lot of fun adventures for these characters. I even have idea for a second book.

Part one had me hooked with the setup - the redhead’s disappearance, the tension between charm and menace. Part two raises the stakes beautifully. Fernando’s villa feels like its own character: extravagant, ominous, and dripping with unspoken danger. What really lands, though, is how you balance humor (“Chikys,” “reckon”) with the darker undercurrent of disappearance, family pressure, and The Lifestyle. It’s cinematic, but also messy and human. I’m already imagining how far Bocas will push this story !
